Situated on the Arno River, at Santa Croce, and next to the Piazza Duomo, all Sanctuary Apartments are within walking distance of the museums, galleries, shops, restaurants and cafes. They are light, spacious, and luxurious, and make an ideal base from which to explore the city at a leisurely pace.
However the excellent location and luxurious accommodation is not what really makes the Sanctuary Apartments stand out from their competitors… it is the Sanctuary Service that gives our apartments that something extra to truly enhance your vacation. Whilst other apartment rental companies will hand over the keys and leave you to your fate, Sanctuary’s unique “Host” will be your friend in the know and provide efficient, unobtrusive service and support throughout your stay. There are many ways in which your “Host” will enhance your apartment experience, including:
Personal Welcome
Your Host will be on hand to welcome you to your apartment and ensure that you are familiar with all the amenities and everything is to your satisfaction.
Local Know-How
Your Sanctuary Host will take you on an orientation of the local area, introducing you to the Panetteria (baker), Macelleria (butcher), Fioraio (florist) and showing you the best place to buy your cheese and ice-cream, as well as pointing out shops to suit your particular interests such as ceramics, wine or leather-goods.
Stocked Drinks Fridge
Prior to your arrival your Pop-In will have stocked your drinks fridge with water, fruit juices and a few bottles of local wine to settle you in.
The First Supper
You will find that a light supper will have been left for you to easily prepare on your initial evening, saving you that rushed visit to the local supermarket before it closes!
Thoughtful inclusions
In addition to the standard fruit, flowers and basic provisions pack supplied, your Sanctuary Pop-In will also thoughtfully leave you a starter pack of toiletries.
Only a telephone call away
For any further assistance you may require during your apartment vacation, your personal Pop-In will only ever be a phone call away.
Furthermore, should you require any additional services during your stay, our knowledgeable team will be more than happy to provide any of the following at extra cost:
- Airport transfers or car hire arrangements

- A chef for evening meals
